Account Deletion Policy
How to Delete Your Account
You may request deletion of your Donnas-Bandwidth-Booster™ account at any time from Settings™ → Account → Delete Account, on Android, iOS, or via the equivalent self-service tool once available on other platforms. You will be asked to re-enter your password to confirm the request, since account deletion cannot be undone.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Upon a confirmed deletion request:
- Your account record, registered devices, license/subscription
associations, and active sessions are permanently deleted, not merely deactivated or hidden.
- Any pending diagnostic reports you submitted are deleted along with
your account.
- All of your sessions are immediately revoked — any signed-in device is
signed out.
What Is Retained After Deletion
- Audit and security logs referencing actions your account took
(for example, administrative actions if you held an administrator role) are retained per our Data Retention Policy for security, fraud-prevention, and legal-compliance purposes. These retained records reference your former account only by an opaque internal identifier — once your account row is deleted, that identifier no longer resolves to your email or any other personal data.
- Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be linked back
to you may be retained.
- Information we are legally required to retain (for example, financial
records tied to a paid subscription, where applicable) will be retained only as long as legally required.
Timing
Deletion requests are processed promptly; account and device records are removed immediately upon confirmation. Where a specific regulatory regime applicable to your jurisdiction imposes a different maximum processing window, that requirement will govern.
Alternatives to Deletion
If you only want to stop routine network-quality telemetry collection without deleting your account, you can disable telemetry consent from Settings™ instead — see our Privacy Policy.
Exporting Your Data First
If you'd like a copy of your data before deleting your account, use the data-export tool in Settings™ first — deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed to recover an export afterward.
